Hi anybody had the feeling the left cheek and lips go sort of numb and a little tingly im really scared.
If you have had a full medical and you are ok then this is probably anxiety and it is a common symptom
Anxiety loves fear so the more scared you are the higher your anxiety will get
Stay Strong
I have heard of this as well as feet and fingers going numb. I have heard closing eyes and breathing slowly 4 count in and 4 count out is helpful. Also knowing that it isn't a,stroke or heart attack is a,bit helpful
Hi lynne I've been suffering with an off balance feeling for 2 years.last august I had mri scan, ecg lung xray, chest ex ray, lots of bloods,en't specialist. Every thing good.but I still, get worried.I am taking antideppressents but a small dosage now. But im worried about my cheek and lips numb feeling and tin glycogen had it for a few hours now ,had it last week aswell.
As I said I get this all the time as an anxiety symptom but if your worried go and get it checked
i think i just had a panic attack! as well as all the numbness and tingling my left arm went weird like no feeling but still tingly,if that makes sense, scary
It is scary there are so many anxiety symptoms just as you get rid of one another come along
It sucks
can anxiety really make my full arm go numb to the point where i feel like i cant lift it cos its so weak?
I believe it can because your blood supply is feeding the core and brain and taking it from limbs. I always lay on my left side and try my best to breath slowly through my nose.
thanks diane,im really struggling x
I am so sorry. I wish there was more I could help with.I recently read about distraction techniques and those have helped me at times. Mine can get so bad it feels like I have someone tightening a belt around my ribs kind of where my bra is.
Yeah its to do with blood flow and adrenaline
do you also struggle to swallow sometimes?i have that now for the first time too
Yes, it feels almost like a thumb sticking in my throat.
Yes I get this feeling all the time , I hate it 😩
It is awful and scary
and have a really dry mouth
I know many people get that, not sure if it is because of breathing through mouth or something else. That is a,symptom I haven't had, maybe because I drink tons of water
thanks everybody you are a great help x
Just knowing ypu are not alone and others understand and have sane felling is helpful. It has, been a,great help to me.
