Hi this is not the sort of thing I'd usually do but I need info for my own peace of mind if it's panic attacks I'm having I've had them since 18 not often but I'm now 28 so tonight as I came to bed watched a film and was time to sleep started feelin funny a little disoriented heart started going a little arms fuzzy pains in chest cold feeling in chest also goosebumps all over my body every few minutes needed the toilet very on edge tryin to calm myself sipping water as it's 2:23am an hour since it started and everyone is asleep in my home
I hate when that happens. Had that in the middle of the night a few days back.remind yourself it will absolutely pass and turn on a meditation and focus on it whilst you return to sleep. It will pass. They always do.

I hope you have moved on from your anxiety attack by now but I just wanted to let you know that I also experience being woken in the night by anxiety, not necessarily panic but a deep sense of anxiety and my heart feeling like it is banging but not racing. It's worse at night when it's dark and quiet and you feel like there is nobody to help you. Just writing a message on this site will hopefully help take your mind off things. Sometimes I will play a game on my phone or do some Internet window shopping, it just makes you focus on something other than the horrible feelings you have.
I really hope you feel a little less anxious now but remember there will always be someone on here to listen. X
