Hi I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's a difference between propranolol 40mg white tablet and 40mg pink tablet
I have received both and was told that it was a different manufacturer. The Pharmacist should have mentioned this to you.
Hi thanks no they didn't explain but seem to feel different on the white ones than I do on the pink but don't know if that's my anxiety or side effects from sertraline I've gone from 50mg to 100mg so I'm going to give it another week see if the symptoms wear off a bit
Yes, it might be partly the anxiety or the side-effects of the sertraline (maybe a little of both). I'm not a doctor but when anything changes, such as a different maker of a med or a change in med, or dose of a med, I usually ask my pharmacist questions right away. In my case, she knows that I was an Army medic and knows I won't misunderstand. Don't be afraid to ask questions to either the pharmacist or your doctor.
Propranolol is used for a lot of things. I was just advised that 40mg was not a high dosage but I suppose it might be high for one person and not for another, depending on the individual's system. Again, don't be afraid to talk to your pharmacist and if you can talk with your doctor through something like a patient portal you would save appointment time and money.
