Hi. I've always suffered from anxiety and had panic attacks which was lumps in the throat, feeling dizzy, sick, weak, breathing, but lately I'm getting new symptoms, glittery feelings in the back of my mouth, feeling like my throat is closing and lastnight I woke up gasping for breath,I'm making a Doctors appointment Monday morning, but I'm terrified thinking I have Gerd or sleep apnea
I'm aldoba hypercondriact,I also have ocd, and if I don't do a certain thing I start thinking I'm gonna die from it
anyone had this?. Thanx
Hello Amandajane39,
I have suffered with anxiety for over 15 years and am only 25, I know how your feeling, Do you have any anxiety triggers? , Is it mainly medical anxiety? worrying about symptoms and sicknesses?, Also when you say you woke up gasping for air ( My thoughts are subconsciously while you where sleeping you has thoughts of this and woke up with the feeling) I have had this before between the stages of sleep and waking when something like this occurs you get a sudden rush of anxiety ( Which in turn releases adrenaline into your blood steam, now how bad the anxiety attack will be will depend on how long you run with your feelings, Stop the thoughts Stop the feelings.
Amanda
Good luck Monday, have a look down your throat with a mirror, so what you see ?
You may see white lumps in your throat, they may need to come out Is that what you mean.
Make your list before your appointment, that will help you to remember while you are there
