Anxiety???

Ever since my crippiling anxiety started in January, I have weird pains on the left side of my body, pressure where my temple is and leg aches and a feeling of soreness in my shoulder and neck quite often, is this normal???

I often get shoulder and neck pain due to anxiety , I believe anxiety cause cause a lot of tension in your upper back without you realising , which is why your neck and shoulders may ache , anxiety can also cause headaches as well as many other pains and aches around the body

Are you medicated for your anxiety? All those symptoms you mentioned can be caused from anxiety. They also could be side affects from any medication you are on. Its really hard for me to make a decision based on very little info you sent. Left side of your body is where your heart is located, did you get your heart checked ? You could have slept on you left side wrong. It could be tension or stress as well. I really need more info in order to give you any advice

Have not started any medication or have stopped at all, I’ve had several ECG’s and chest xray about a month and a half ago and everything came back completely normal! I’m just super unsure

Okay, do you have sinus or allergy problems? I ask because the timing fits with my theory. As you probably know, its spring time and pollen, mold and dust are everywhere. if you are allergic to something your sinuses get infected and your body makes mucus. The mucus runs down your throat into your lungs, not a lot just enough to make you miserable and chest pain. So mucus works with gravity, so you sleep on your left side and the mucus runs to your left lung and vice versa if you sleep on your right side. Anyway, if thats the case, you wake up and you have mucus in your left lung causing pain on your left side of you body. Are you with me so far? This mucus would also put pressure on your head and cause other aches and pains as well. Does this make any sense to you ? I could be off and it could be a back issue too, but this fits better.

What is the best way to get rid of mucous if that is the situation? As well, as I do have mild scoliosis that the doctor diagnosed me with about 6 years ago

Mucinex is what i use. I also suggest you take allergy/sinus tablets (Claritin, Alegra, Zertec, Benadryl, Sudafed, etc.) to stop the mucus from forming in the first place. Good luck and let me know how you make out.
