Ive suffered with anxiety for years. Lately though when im walking my heart starts racing and i start to feel funny. My blood pressure goes high and my vision goes slightly blurred. It takes me a while to calm down then i feel like crap.i also feel a bit unsteady on my feet. I start to panic thinking it’s my heart. I have quite high blood pressure in general and I’m convinced anxiety is the cause. A lot of the time i have low mood And low energy. Anyone else get these symptoms. Really scary. I’m not your doctor but I’ve suffered from gad, agoraphobia, panic attacks for 25 years and if I was you I’d get a physical test, full blood works and all that. If it’s not physical it seems like anxiety attacks and or panic attacks. Anxiety attacks can last for days whereas panic attacks last no longer than 10 minutes or so. Panic attacks are known for making people feel they are having a heart attack or are literally about to die. But it’s hell and after 25 years I’ve learned to deal with panic attacks tho they’re MUCH less frequent. But generalized anxiety is harder because it’s not a few minutes that I’ve learned to deal with. When I have a panic attack I literally get vision like I’m looking thru a tunnel and can’t see peripheral, I can’t stand up and usually get in the fetal position, sweat like crazy and ride it out. My trick I use that works half of the time is as soon as I feel like it is coming on I talk $h!t to it. I’ll be like, here is this crap again. Get the hell out of here I don’t have time for and am sick of you! This will stop it in it’s tracks sometimes. But like I said, it took 2 decades to get this down. If I get one full blown I have to lay down because I can’t stand up and I ride it out. After which I’m so worn out that I fall asleep and have no anxiety for an hour or so because I’ve used all that energy up. Generalized anxiety and agoraphobia is something that I struggle with and I’m on meds. Don’t try to self medicate. It’ll make it worse in the long run, TRUST ME!

I had very similar symptoms, I would call 111 and they seemed to see it as a heart issue, however, on looking at when these attacks occurred, I began to see a pattern.

My last one happened in a restaurant, I was feeling absolutely fine, relaxed, happy, chatting with family, then suddenly, BP up, chest discomfort, weird feelings, palpitations, shaking etc. and I suddenly realised that it was caffeine!

I am seriously intolerant to caffeine and it makes me very unwell indeed.

Have you looked into possibe allergies and intolerances? They can be from foods, drinks, chemicals in toiletries, household cleaners and so on.

Hi Andy, hope today has been good to you. Anxiety is exhausting and plays a huge role on your CNS, Immune, and metabolic system. When you feel depressed or low mood you may start to feel indifferent from others. This is the catch yourself before you fall scenario. Once you start feeling indifferent then you might feel judged. Even though people around you want to enjoy your company you may be thinking thoughts that are not relevant to the situation. These thoughts can continue to impact your mood. Then your energy level begins to dwindle. After awhile you might notice that your mood affects people you care about around you which furthers your measures to self isolate. As long as you start to see this patten trending downward you can do something about it. It’s not gonna be easy but it can be done. I need you to gather some resources. 1) Your most extroverted family member or friend willing to spend time with you. 2) Kimchi One capsules from bright core 3) Eliminate sugar and processed foods from your diet. 4) Strong Omega 3 from BSN nutrition 5) Human beet root powder.

If you can do at least 1, 2, 3 it should help. If you can eat Kimchi that’s great don’t the capsules. What you want from that is the best gut health boost money can buy. I don’t want anyone else to be feeling anxious alone or scared. You don’t have to be and don’t accept anything other that the care you deserve. Always save a little for yourself. Never give anyone 100% of yourself every day otherwise you will burn out and anxiety loves that process of driving your mind and body too far.
