Ok so maybe 5 days ago I noticed my leg is just feeling "weird". And I'm scared it might be a blood clot, dvt. But every time I think about it I find it irrational.
On this past saturday, some co-workers and I were talking about illnesses and then one of then said that their friend had a huge blood clot behind her knee and she thought it was charley horse. Since the I've been examining my legs and they'd been feeling weird. And it's mostly my left leg, it's tingling and sometimes I feel like my leg muscle is tightening up, but then after a few minutes I'm okay. It's happening on and off for the past few days. Sometimes I feel my right toes tingling too.
There's no discoloration, no swelling, it doesn't hurt, but the tingling is making it feel weird.
I'm 20 yrs old, no blood problems, I've been on my feet working for the past 6 days besides Tuesday when I off and had to clean and do laundry. I am currently on my period.
Hi worrybunny obviously I'm not a doctor but it sounds to me like it could be to do with your period. Such wonderful things happen to us at that time of the month. Obviously it's always worth getting it checked out if it doesn't go away once your period finishes. But I think you have nothing to worry about. X
Thank you for replying.
I just have another question. I know you're not a doctor but I just need someone else's rational thinking.
The weirdness that in was feeling with my left leg, I'm now feeling it with my right leg. Like there are certain times when I feel my muscle (hoping it's my muscle) tensing up.
I'm at the end of my period, but my anxiety about this is through the roof. Could my anxiety be doing this too?
My leg looks normal, no swelling, no pain, no discoloration
It will definatly be anxiety I get terrible twitches and muscle tension when im anxious and the more I think about it the worse it gets. I know it's very easy to say this but just try and relax and remember it's just you over thinking things. Big hugs x
