Anxious over gardasil vaccination?

Posted this in the vaccine thread too.

So, yesterday at my wellness check I was given three vaccinations. One for hep-a, one for meningitis, and one for hpv (gardasil). I've only had one reaction to a vaccination in the psat, when I was 3 or 4 and given the chicken pox vaccine.

Despite my mother and I agreeing and informing my doctor I didn't want or need the 'optional' shot, the doctors decided on it and gave me it regardless.

It's a day after and I've been going through states of being feverish, dizzy if I walk or do anything, soreness in my arm, numbness in my hand, pain in my wrist, and at the injection site there is a dime-sized red lump that's warm to the touch and painful if it brushes against anything. My hand is completely numb and with my health anxiety I'm terrified. What do I do???

I would put a cold pad on it - it will be ok.

Well my gosh. You know your body, and if you felt  there might be a reaction, then you should not have let him give the shot. Speak up. Hope you feel better soon

That's the thing! Both my mother and I specifically told the nurses we didn't want or need the shot for multiple reasons, and the entire staff 'overruled' us and gave it anyway. I'm sincerely wondering if these mystery chest/stomach pains and early-setting fatigue at like 9-10pm is because of the shot...

At least most other side effects faded by now
