Hi I took a at home urine test and it shows I have blood in urine and very low proteins, I have nitrites though so don't think it's a uti. I just had a blood test last month bc I was having a lot of pain under my ribs and they gave me mess for a stomach ulcer and gastritis as that's what I was diagnosed for last year with no treatment. The blood test came back with a mildly high level of ATL of 70 but other then that no concern from the doctor other then lay off the tylonal. I never took a urine test bc I didn't think I needed one and was not being seen for that. I got my results and my gfr level is at 85. But doctor didn't mention that and if it was a concern he would of said something right? Maybe not since I wasn't complaining of back pain. But now my lower abdominal has sharp pains with blood and proteins, should I go see a doctor? What do you think it is?

It sounds as though you need investigation, and we aren't doctors on here. Hopefully, you have a simple, common or garden, UTI which can, and should, be easily treated. I hope you feel better soon.
Thank you very much I've been under investigation for over a year now just on my gut and digestive system. Unfortunately kidneys is not something I ever questioned as my pain is rarely ever in my back and if so it's way to up high to be kidneys. However I've seen 3 doctors with no help and they all tell me to lose weight. I'm fat but I'm not huge but apparently that's all they see and that's what I'm gonna get from any other doctor who looks at my test results and sees no real evidence of a problem. I'm hoping it's just a uti as well and the nitrates will show up later or something.
