im posting so much recently but im not feeling well at all! i have 3 days that i started sertaline back,but im having so much palpitations i keep checking the hr, today i experience skipping beats all the time &im so scared! i contacted my cardiologist today but he dont think i need further tests since i had extensive tests in the past! (last one were on 2018)but in worried that my condition might got worst over the past years! recently i had 2 ekg both normal,but i still dont feel good! chest pain/tightness palpitations ,insomnia , stomach pain discomfort

I suffered from GAD and sometimes have these symptoms as well, at the minute i am going through a tough time and noticing small changed in my body, such as some times struggling to breathe correctly or like you noticing pains, but from what i have been told by a councillor is that these are all signs of anxiety and are nothing to worry about,
have you tried just relaxing? I found for me that the calming videos on youtube which are like 2 hours long and just play peaceful sounds, put my headphones in, turned off the lights and just relaxed really helped me,
if you are generally worried speak to your doctor? And just have a chat with them either in person or over the phone, some times just talking helps and being reassured for me was a major part in helping me come to terms with what i was feeling,

Hey Aria, everyone is different but, I was on Sertraline and had bad side effects. Actually I had an allergic reaction to it and wound up in the ER with bruising all over my legs and itching. I’m now on Lexapro and I take it for anxiety and it’s better. The first two weeks can be rough though which is normally the case with most meds but, this has actually been the only thing I’ve taken that has started to calm me down and I tried everything due to severe peri anxiety. I’ve only had some dizziness initially starting it that is subsiding and no nausea for me if taken with food. That’s it. I did not want to take any meds but, had to do something. I can’t take Hrt. They say Lexapro is one of the safest with the least side effects. I was on Zoloft before the Sertraline and I was numb on that. This hasn’t caused that. It’s true sometimes it takes time through trial and error to find the right med. I’m a year into this and I know. I swore off meds after the Sertraline but, my doctor advised my symptoms would come back and oh they did. Hang in there. Hope you find something that works and you feel better soon. You are so not alone.
