Dear bozzer,
Anxiety disorder can be controlled easily by following these simple steps:
1. Keep your BP below 120/80
2. Never stay indoor for longer hours, try to interact with friends
3. Dont sleep late and sleep a minimum of 6 hours per day
4. Be with your loved ones
5. Stay busy engaging with some favourite activities
6. Think that you are OK
7. Dont worry about your health, you are OK
8. Tell yourself that everything is fine and need not to worry.
9. Command STOP to your mind when you start thinking or worrying about your anxiety/panic attack.
10. Think of the great things in life, think of the great opportunites in life
11. All your anxiety can be controlled by your mind and you are the one who can controll the mind.

Stay calm, nothing is wrong with you, just control your mind, everything will be OK. If you still have proble, try to share.

I've had CBT in the past and am having it again now. I can't recommend it enough, I'm a talker anyway so find it helps to just off load on a stranger.
I've had friends do CBT online or over the phone and they've not found it as helpful as I have but that may depend on your character.
CBT helped me train the way my brain thinks (I've had a lot of major stresses in my life recently so had a bit of a problem trying to control my thoughts hence the CBT again)
I would say go for it asap I was shocked to fins things from my childhood (am 35 now) were impacting on my life now. She said to think of your brain as a filing cabinet. If you don't deal with things you file them away to deal with later or forget about. Eventually that cabinet gets full and your brain can't take anymore. Hence the negative thoughts or anxiety. Now if I have a problem. I think can I do anything about it? If the answer is no then I forget about it, don't give it another thought, etc
