I'm posting on behalf of my mum. She was diagnosed with Diverticulitis a few years ago. She's had one bad flare up and several smaller flare ups since then. She suffers from bad constipation, sometimes she gets really blocked up and gets bad pains low down in her stomach and the only thing that relieves it is going to the toilet.
Her main problem right now is nausea. She's had daily nausea in the mornings when she first wakes up for about an hour each day. Sometimes it comes in the evenings. The doctor doesn't know what to do with her. She's had various test etc. No one knows what's causing this constant nausea. She then feels better throughout the day and is able to eat.
She's being referred to a gastro specialist but is worried they won't be able to find a reason behind the nausea. This is completely ruining her quality of life. She can't leave the house some mornings until the afternoon when she feels better. Does anyone else get this symptom without pains? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. At a loss of what to do and worried sick about her.
