hello beautiful humans, anyone know what this could be?

I was sick with a cold, then noticed my downstairs started becoming really itchy. doctor looked and did an std test again and said only thing that came up was a strep b infection so she gave me antibiotics for 7 days but it feels like it's getting worse and I'm not sure that is the original issue... I know I had hpv come up on a pap smear a few years ago, could it be hpv warts or something? I can't get into the docs for a few days but it's driving me nuts 😔😔 (I've had the same partner for the past year also)

i’m not a medical professional, but i’ve seen a lot of posts like this before on the doctors help page on reddit. hymenal tags are normal and apparently quite common, as they are formed as a result of the hymen breaking. i personally haven’t come across them, as i tend to have sex with men, but from what i saw in reddit many many people have those and it seems that some people even find them particularly attractive. was the doctor you saw male? perhaps he lacks knowledge of female anatomy.
