Any POEM surgery experience from Hyderabad ,Asian Institute under Dr Nageswar Reddy?

I have been suffering from Swallowing and Acid reflux difficulties for the last 7 months . Now diagnosed with Achalasia Cardia .

I decided to do POEM surgery as per the doctor’s advise .

Any Achalasia friends plz let me knw where did you do your POEM surgery .

Currently I am looking forward Dr nageshwar reddy - Asian Institute of Gastroenterology , Hyderabad OR Dr Amith Maydeo - Global Institute , Mumbai .

i had the POEM procedure at Stanford Med. Center with Dr. Homero Rivas back in 2016. The improvement was immediate. I still have difficulty eating bread and starchy rice so I just avoid those items. I was still struggling with Acid reflux up until this year and was taking multiple doses of OTC Medications until I tried following a Keto Diet (High Fat/very low carbs) and I have not needed any reflux medications since. Best of luck with uour POEM procedure!
