Was it really painful
Hi Judith I haven’t had the same surgery as you but if you have an infection I am sure this would contribute to your pain. Do you have analgesics. I hope your antibiotics are beginning g to take hold and you’ll soon feel much more comfortable.
Two weeks is really really early post operativeky and the first few weeks are pretty hard work. If you look at the links below there’s a lot of advice you may find helpful under “Genitourinary” take it as easy as you can and avoid any lifting, pushing pulling bending etc.
Ensure you don’t get constipated and no straining to go to the loo.
Don’t sit (if you can) or stand for very long at all. Get lots and lots of rest. Wishing you the very best. Let us know how you get on. Any concerns get advice from medics
