sady I a pre op! But in 8 days will be post op..sorrynot to be nearer you but I live in Wiltshire.

great news Ian! I hadnt thought of this! Oh well ive been knocked kneed and pigeoned toed all my life so I now think how lucky Ive been to have got this far!

Hi not too far away, I am in Warrington. 10 weeks post op and after years of pain, I am now doing so well. No regrets. I had my op at Wrightington Hospital which is the specialist orthopedic hospital for the North West.

I had my op at wrightington too.they gave me the option of resurfacing or replacement.

I knew as soon as I woke up that the op had gone well as my left foot was lying in a position it hadn't done for years.

Is recommended wrightington for anyone who gets the option

Last time I went for my annual check up, I was chatting to two women who'd flown over from the Isle of Man for their ops.

One of them was a fell runner who'd continued with the sport.
