Hi Michele, I have been suffering with pains as well especially neck and shoulder pain. The pains affect my sleep and tire me out along with all my other symptoms 😕. Have you any blood tests ? Things like arthritic problems or fibromyalgia can cause pain like this, then again maybe just hormones. I not got to bottom of what's causing mine yet . Hope you feeling better soon it's not a pleasant time .
Hi Michelle, I suffer from almost exactly the same... Pains. Headaches and migraines.... I have been taking VitaB, calcium with vitaD and iron tonic for energy. Think I will be adding sage to the pile soon. Just to be sure, have you had your eyes checked on the migraine issue... Over 45's seems to be the curse we all get to have weakening eyesight. Think it doesn't help with all the mobile, computers we are using daily.
Let me know how you are doing once you start using some vitamins 😉
Cheers for now x
I started experiencing the same thing almost 2 years ago. After being checked for fibromyalgia, lupus, arthritis, nerve damage having x-rays, MRI's, ultrasounds of my arms, and neck, physical therapy and probably stuff I don't want to recall, I was placed on steroids. Long story short, I have figured out that the problem is not joint related but muscle related. All stemming from a hormonal imbalance due to menopause. The fix for me is constant stretching - and I mean constant. It helps the muscles, the arm pain (most people experience left arm pain which many docs diagnose as frozen shoulder). I had excruciating pain in my left elbow which disappears after I stretch and stretch my arm. Magnesium spray or lotion helps to relax the muscle and relieve some pain but stretching really change things. My neck pain and headaches are also directly related to muscle tightness. I had bad acid reflux and I was so tired, I could barely stay awake on the drive home. Taking citrate magnesium helped with the tiredness. I try to eat yogurt for probiotics as much as I can to regulate my stomach. I cut out most of the junk food. Potato chips cause acid reflux for me so I try to stay away from those as much as I can. Additionally, I take a multivitamin, vitamin D, B complex and B12. Things are not perfect but they are certainly better. The migraines I get from muscle tightness in my neck are managed with stretching. I sit on a ball at work for 1/2 the day so I can rotate my back and legs. Anything you can do to relax your muscles may be the answer to not going insane with pain. Many folks swear by the mirena coil or other hormonal replacements but I had such a bad experience with steroids, I am trying to get through it naturally. As for my eyesight, that went south too. If I try to read something without glasses for long periods , I get a migraine and a stomach ache (which I didn't realize could happen). Lastly, try to see if the heating pad is really helping. I had the kind you could put on your neck and wear like a shawl. LOVED IT! I felt great but the last time my back locked up (muscles again) I think the heating pad aggravated it further. So while it feels great, I stopped using it as a crutch. I do miss it though. I hope some of this helps. I thought I was going to lose it when there was never a good answer from the rheumatogists nor general practitioners.
