Diagnosed with genitals herpes around 4 months ago and had the sore throat/flu like symptoms with the initial outbreak. Had a few mild OB’s since but does anyone get a sore throat with their recurrent outbreaks? I’ve had a mild outbreak and also a sore throat. Just wondered if this was OB related or whether it’s simply just a sore throat? Any help/advice to try recognise an OB coming would be appreciated. I’m still getting to grips with all this. Thank you.
I’ve only had bad flu/illness symptoms with the first one really, maybe felt a bit worn down other times, not sure throat though. But generally sore throat/headaches/fatigue aren’t uncommon accompanying OBs. I hope yours settle down, know it’s tough.

Some get a tingling feeling in the area of the outbreak the day before there's anything to be seen. Not everyone gets this though.
