Well my tmj all started after this lovely dentist did a root canal on my tooth and left my jaw propped open for 4 hours... I didnt really know about tmj untill then... I actuallty thought i had a stroke because i was walking off to one side...after freaking out and going back to the dentist they said i had tmj... Didnt do nothing about it at all.. Like oh im sorry i f****d up your life but sorry we cant do nothing about it.. Geez thanks.. The ringing in the ears is unreal... The more anxious i get the louder the ringing
Anyone else getting sick of the ringing in the ears.. Also pressure in the jaws and behind the ears!
My husband has been suffering from loss of taste and tinnitus since having a simple filling done 4 years ago. The dentist hit the Chorda Tympani nerve when giving him the injection to numb him. Unfortunately there are a lot of people who have had their lives permanently disrupted and the ADA will not even acknowledge it.
