But the last week or so I'm getting a dragging feeling where my cervix should be, just wondered if it's a bladder infection, I'm trying to drink plenty of water.
but I do remember the doctor saying that everything moves when you've had a hysterectomy to fill the space, also wondered now I'm getting older my muscles in my abdomen aren't as stronge so I'm noticing things more.
I had my total hysterectomy 2 and 1/2 years ago so not as long as you but my tummy muscles have gone to pot completely, I've just bought myself one of those 'core' exercisers to see if that will help a bit, I am up to 50 situps a day woohoo!
I'm getting quite a lot of uti's and apart from the lack of hormones I contribute it partly to the fact that my bladder and bowel have both dropped, you have got a little prolapse have you? I suppose that is possible though I don't know if that happens after 15 , but don't rule it out, perhaps go see your GP to put your mind at rest.
I don't mind you asking my age at all, I was 62 when I had my hysterectomy so (eek) I'll be 65 in January, do you know, I have to stop and think about it sometimes, I had my op done in the December so I may even have still been 61.....oh dear, senior moments.
We are very lucky at our GP's surgery, we can usually get seen within a couple of days at the very least.
Definitely we ladies get poked and prodded a lot for different medical things don't we? I certainly didn't expect it when I was in my 60's but heyho we seem to cope.
I suppose I should have done more excersise when I had the operation but I wasn't able to move for weeks because of the way they had to cut me to remove all of the endermetrosis,
iv just been looking at gentle exercises to do for pelvic strengthening so I'm going to have a go at those for a couple of weeks to see if that makes any difference, before I go to the doctors.
Only a Dr. examining you can diagnose this. It could be a large range of things from a prolapse (always possible with or without hysterectomy and is as our tissues get thinner post-menopausal and can depend on what type of delivery of a baby years ago); or an adhesion from previous surgery etc. etc. Did the Surgeon dissect out the endo?
couldnt remove all Endometriosis, but my gp changed my HRT to estrogen only one, but said after 15 year what was remaining would have dispersed. I'm on sertraline and Iv also read that it can cause lower tummy pains, I will yet again make a gp appointment,
i suppose I should expect aches and pains now I'm getting older. ☹️
