I have really bad leg pain , feels like I have run a marathon but I haven't , they also feel tingly like I have one of those tens machines on them . I did have severe back pain about a month ago but my backs find now , I'm so scared I have cancer or something . Someone did mention the contraceptive pill so I stopped taking that yesterday. Just wondered if anxiety can cause it this bad.
I get both the numbness/tingling and also random pain in my legs and joins... Basically like a bruised feeling... I did read it could be a part of anxiety.. .Anxiety causes aches all over your body.
Your look me you go to worry about the worst possible thing.. It happens. Just remember you are OK. Dont feed into the negative thoughts.
How could you have cancer because you have a pain in your leg???? What kind of cancer would cause that? Your thinking seems to be very irrational to think cancer for a leg pain
I feel leg pain a lot usually happens at night and I cannot even sleep bc the pain is there usually ill take advil or any medicine like that for pain. It happens when im walking too much im guessing & I have anxiety too
Just don't jump to something crazy like cancer.... I don't know of any cancer that just causes leg pain,
Could be something like arthritis or just anxiety in general. Have to think logical though- thinking something like that is cancer has no basis
No I know. Leg pain doesnt scare me or trigger my anxiety I dont think anything bad of it
Hi Natalie , It is possible that the pain is caused by sciatica which is a trapped nerve in the spine, it causes numbness, tingling and weakness of the legs. You mentioned back pain about a month ago so it was possibly pain in the nerve which then radiates down either one or both legs. I get it often as I have back problems but something as simple as lifting, bending or sleeping in an awkward position can trigger it. It can last for days or weeks or it can disappear as quickly as it came. I just take an over the counter anti inflamatory tablet with pain killer in it. The more you worry about it the more conscious you will be of it, hope this helps you in some way and hopefully it will go away soon. Take care

Thank you that's really helpful , I did wonder about it having something to do with my back.
I did visit the GP I'm having bloods done he did say lack of certain vitamins like D and B can cause it.
Got my fingers tightly crossed it's nothing serious.
