i am suffering from prostatitis for last eight years. Sometimes i feel good sometimes i feel bad. Symptoms are mainly pain in penis base and burning after urine and during Ejaculation.
I have been taking antobiotic therapy but sometimes it works and sometimes it does not, i have feeling like it comes sometimes and stays with me for a while and it goes away with out informing me .
My urologist says everyone with chronic prostatitis has same feeling is that right ?? I think in 2017 there should be some treatment other then antibiotics , because i am having severe Side effects from antibiotics
and Now my urologist says that i have developed resistance towards antibiotics and he can do nothing , asking me to find an other alternative options for the treatment and i have been paying him since 5 years ..
Never thought he will give up on me just like this .

like yourself have had prostatitis for several years. Mine started soon after a prostate biopsy. It comes and goes, mostly is seems to follow some other infection. Recently went on vacation and picked up a very bad cough likely from the flight. Soon after prostatitis back. pain in my low back.pubic area, some pain down one side of my penis, slight burning when peeing. My only ease comes from a very hot bath,strong does of ibuprofen(400mg x 2) and going for a gentle walk for a mile or so. Sorry cant be more help, dont look to my doctor to be of a lot of use on this issue. Seems we just have to put up with it. It does seem to just disappear for a while 1-2 months and then its back. Hope you soon feel a bit better.

John Don't Ever trust this urologists anymore also ruined my life and Left me with Severe Symptoms behind.
