was doing great three months post op, then got shingles on my face. I thought I was great but must of been a bit run down still
I have shingles too. Had THR three times .the stress from surgery can cause the symptoms to start.Also would suggest once the symptoms heal, ask your doctor for the shingles vaccine Shingrex. It made a big difference for the recient revision. No break outs and less recourrance of the rash and itching. Lessons the severity and less chance on PHN.
