Hello, Ive read a few threads on here about raphaello and hemmaroidoctomy. i went for the raphaello provedure but my case was to bad. NHS surgeon woukd inly offer me a hemmaroidoctomy and due to having a smallholding i did not have the time to go through the long recovery id read about, or extreme pain. id been in extreme pain upto 7 hours a day with prolapsed internal and external hemmaroids and been on nhs waiting list and told id have to wait another year before surgery. well i couldnt finction or luce fie to the severity. so in the end found a way to go private. As my case was too severe for raphaello, my surgeon offered THC operation( bit like hemmaroidoctomy but everythibg is stitched instead.) i wondered if anyone ekse has been through this procedure? initally waking from op and that evening no pain relief would work.. not morphine, codeine, paracetomol, ibruprofen nothing. so i soent first nightin extreme pain in hospital with them unable to control my pain. in the end i demanded ice, which vave some but little relief. days follwoibg i continued to use ice and finally the codeine and ibroorefen md parectomol started to take the edge off. i also used cannabis oil which was the knkh thing to bring any real relief at all. after surgery it appeared that the external hemmaroids on ine side had conpketely shrunk, an internal skin thrombosed one came away, easing some pain. since ive been taking regukar baths to cobtrok pain and using ice. somedays are better but its a very up and down and ling recovery from what im experiencing. im 14 days in and still have severe pain and now further swelling if external hemmaroids which had gone down. alm bowel movements have been involentary and loke a muscle soasm and u have bot pushed or bared down once! im hoping the swelling os just from the trauma of op and that it hasnt failed?!!!i was just wondering if anyone has experineced the operation and if the swelling and pain at ghis stage is normal? my surgeon is 300 miles away and i cannot get a doctors appointment for live nor money due to ridiculous nhs waiting times now. or then simply having the ohkne off the hook (already a complaint from prrviously with gp surgery as theyve igire me year) going to the loo is excrutiating and incudes me screaming a lot, is this normal at this stage?! i am eatibg and drinking all the right things. high fibre, water, laxatives etc.. anyone with any stories of THC op who can help reasure me please? thanks
