Anyone had Phenol Injection for Haemorrhoids?

Hi Has anyone had Phenol Injection for Haemorrhoids? If so was it painful? Successful? Any feedback would be appreciated Thanks :)

I have had phenol injections for internal hems. The surgeon said he injected 3 areas. I was put to sleep for the procedure so I felt nothing. I wasn’t in any pain at all after and I wouldn’t even say I was in discomfort either but I didn’t see any improvement from that procedure however it also didn’t get any worse from the procedure so I wouldn’t tell anyone to not give it a go! I had better results from banding although I was definitely in discomfort after banding for about 12 hours (no pain just discomfort) I did feel like it made improvements in my condition, they are still there but they bug me less

I just had the injection this morning
Awake during and not fun but could have been worse. Ive been having pain anyway so its all relative I guess.
Ive had RBL also. I dont know if it just didnt work for me or now its a different one.
The doc that did RBL not seeing patients due to COVID so another did the injection.
Im praying they will help.
Hope you are keeping well and wont need any more treatments.
Such a nightmare!
