anyone has low blood pressure with menopause?

Hi Ladies, I am peri menopausal. My symptoms started last October. They started with constant dizziness, then came burry vision, sensitive hearing, and head discomfort. Lately, I found my blood pressure has been low for the past several month. Systolic blood pressure in the 70s-80s. I heard blood pressure increase with menopause. I am wondering if low blood pressure could be a symptom too. Has anyone experiencing/experienced this?

I get high and low blood pressure. On observation my bp is normal range 117/80 during the day and late afternoon it creeps up to 169/100 , then after 10pm drops to 93/68 my pulse also varries from 49 to 88 during the day. Huh, such a worry, doctors cant even say why after various tests but they put it down to menopause and anxiety. My guess is visit your doctor to evaluate the situation and get some answers.

I am experiencing the same thing and its driving me crazy. A year ago is when everything started to fall apart for me. Endocrinologist thought I had too much thyroxin built up and I stopped my thyroid med. dropped about 40 pounds too. I had a full cardiac work up a year ago and all came back normal. My BP started running much lower a few months ago. I’ve also had an increase in palpitations and even had a few irregular heart beats pick up on my BP machine. I’m trying to eat more foods higher in sodium to try and increase my BP naturally (I don’t eat it on food, never have). I try to keep telling myself its just hormones and it will pass. Oh, and my thyroid tests have been normal ever since. You are not alone. Hang in there.

Thank you for letting me know that i am not alone. Besides low blood pressure, i have too irragular heart beat episodes. I had a full cardiac work up as well. All came back normal. my endocrine work up was normal too.my doctor put me on medication. they are not that effective. i am hoping this will pass soon.
