Matt, how long ago did you first notice this, or any of the different things that you are concerned about?
Knowing the following would also be essential: -
.
- what age are you?
- what do you apply regularly to your penis, for example:
- Soap - Shower gel - other forms of body wash - Lubes - regularly using condoms, that kind of stuff
- Have you tried to resolve the issue, or issues that you are concerned about by applying any creams, ointments, medication you have been given, other stuff you have tried?
- the cracks that you state, are these on the head, on the upper-main shaft of your penis, or both?
- the flaking burning and dryness that you state, can you give an explanation as to why it MAY be like that, so something like ‘I applied this stuff to my penis and within a few hours much of what you see started happening’ - so, anything you are aware of or are suspicious of?
sorry for the late reply i’m 21 i’ve tried a lot of creams lotions ointments like coconut oil vaseline urea 5% i don’t use soap anymore i used to a long time ago i use a water based lube i apply the coconut oil every other day i tried to lay off the coconut oil for a few weeks to see if that was the problem nothing changed the cracks are on the front lower half of the glans that seem to look worse when erect the burning happens when i start moving or it gets hot in that area the coconut oil seems to help the dryness but makes the flaking worse and the burning but nothing seems to change no matter what i apply it just covers it up i’ve been having this problem for a few months now it doesn’t seem to get worse its rather the same or slightly better really lost here thanks for the reply.
It sounds like you are doing all of the right things: I would suggest there is something or a combination of things that are radically getting in the way of, or simply undermining the good things you are doing.
I would suggest the best course of action for you would be to see a Dermatologist - certainly the skin at the top of the shaft of your penis is in a very poor condition and this, and the other issues you have need to be addressed and the best specialist to deal with this is a Dermatologist
