Hi esp with coronavirus I'm feeling extra anxious about everything. Since I hit peri the fatigue has been bad but recently it's been really extreme like can hardly move, maybe worse after drinking caffeinated green tea though it's supposed to help with fatigue. Am I alone? Feel so crappy and exhausted and still having periods so not looking forward to full menopause. I planned to get fibroid surgery so I could go on hormones but now obv cant with coranvirus. And I know peri doesn't help your immune system.
Hi yes i feel shocking most days. dizzy, so tired cant be bothered with anything even the washing up is a big deal. hope we get some peace soon. your not alone x
Hi Sakura, Have you ever had your iron, blood sugar &/or thyroid checked? Anemia can happen while you are still having periods and causes fatigue…thyroid issues can cause numerous issues and its a type of hormone that can change with age…blood sugar issues can cause a range of symptoms and can be age related, with all this anxiety and stress it may be really taking a toll on your body esp. if you don’t sleep well or have interrupted sleep!! I know people turn to caffeine for a boost but, when it wears of you can feel more tired, plus its a stimulant that can cause things like sweating, palpitations, increased HR & anxiety in some people, esp. peri women, plus it can be addicting…it may be helpful to talk to your Dr…with your surgery cancelled & all that’s going on, could you be depressed? Since you might not be able to get bloodwork right now, you can try increasing your iron and some protein for a few days(using food…supplements you should ask your DR first) try to relax…deep breathing, avoid news, do things you enjoy, try eating small meals regularly it might stabilize your blood sugar, see if it helps at all, keep track of changes to tell your Dr and keeping a journal of symptoms can help your Dr, too. Its frustrating, so keep up your communication with family and friends, or strangers if that helps…Good Luck & BEST WISHES:wedding:
