I took it one day and had neck ache and leg aches
Oh yes! I've been searching for other people with same symptoms, not from withdrawals. After 4 days of taking only 12.5 mg / day ( I've had a few other reactions to meds lately for post concussion headaches) , I woke up at 5am sweating, nauses, achy, anxiety through the roof. My legs hurt so bad I could barely walk to the kitchen. My HR went up to 120, ended up in the ER that night .EKG fine, chest X-ray fine, bloodwork fine, except low end Potassium.
I assumed it was from the gabapentin I started the same day for my post concussion headaches, but ER dr said probably not but I stopped it anyway, but continued the Sertraline for 3 more days ( 7 days total) but was not getting better, so my Dr said stop.
It's now been over 3 weeks since stopping and I still have aches and weakness from my hips down! Going back to Dr in 3 days. She wants me to get in to see my Neurologist also. Horrible! now I have another issue to deal with .

Hi Holly, I was given sertraline for anxiety and I had been on Celexa and it sent my anxiety through the roof. I started the sertraline and also only took 12.5 it had my neck aching so bad and I also could barely walk from the leg cramps and they also was in my hips. I only took it one day and I knew it was from this because I had stopped the Celexa a week prior. I went to ER and they told me to go on Prozac because I had used it in the past. After a couple days I was okay but it was really scary. I hope you feel better soon!
