Pristiq is FDA approved for Depression
Effexor is FDA approved for Depression, Generalized Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Social Anxiety.
Since both are very similar, and Pristiq is more recent and supposedly an improved version, why is that? Is it because Pristiq is less effective for Anxiety?
Also why Zoloft is not FDA approved for GAD even though it seems lots of people use it for this specific reason?
