Anyone tried Mona Lisa Touch?

Hello! Just wondering if anyone has experienced this after the Mona Lisa. My LS issues have been tearing of the skin between the vagina and anus and itching. I am 43 and going thru menopause. My issues started when I started going thru menopause. I had my first Mona Lisa treatment 5 weeks ago and going in for my second treatment on Friday. After the 1st treatment the itching is worse than before and the tearing is also worse. It's like the skin between the vagina and anus it tighter than before which is why I am tearing easier. I thought the Mona Lisa was suppose to make the skin have more elasticity. I tear for no reason. I am so fustrated. I was so hoping this was the answer for me.

Are you using a moisturizer and are you prescribed a steroid medication for the LS?

I've had three Mona Lisa touch treatments but I still use the Clobetasol and on off days I moisturize with Aquaphor ointment.

Yes, I use the Clob although right after the treatment it burned when applied for the itching but am able to use it now. I use Aquafor everyday! Just wondering if the tightening of the skin is normal and if the skin is so tight won't it keep tearing??

I have had 3  treatments and gave actually seen some "plumping" of labia which had badly atrophied. Still don't think I can have sexual relation but both doctors I see have noted improvement.  Using Chlor-betasol but it irritates me. Taking antibotic for Lichen Plannus on my scalp and think they are helping with LS too.

I have tried soaking in bath with baking soda and it did seem to make everything calm down and loosen. I haven't tried the Borax as some have suggested.

I don't have tearing or excess dryness is I keep it covered with the Aquaphor ointment.

I recently had the plymouth procedure, done at plymouth hospital.   Its an op which reshapes that area so it doesnt split.      It replaces a fentons procedure which is frequently found to fail with  LS patients.

so far, so good.  Its been 5 weeks ...

if you google it, there are better explanations and a video.    I believe the mona lisa only affects the internal muscle  nd skin, it doesnt do anytthing for external skin.....  But  please, someone correct me if i am wrong.

My Ob doctor said it helps both, the first treatment I had she did internal and external. My biggest issue is the external skin with tearing. I have no issues inside. Now it seems to have made the skin tighter which is tearing more. Frustrating that I spent $1,500 for this!

I had 4 treatments a year and. Half ago that eliminated itching andvtearing for over a year. When itching started again I had 3 more treatments. All is good at the moment.
