I get weird pressure, buzzing, almost numbness and light headed in head when anxious. and tests all ok docs say anxiety, but sometimes when i feel that way, i can trip on words or say the wrong thing because of fogginess. if u have had this happen, can u please give an example? i just feel so alone with this. THANKS SO MUCH!
Don’t feel alone Jan. I’ve had the same weird pressure that seems to be right between the eye and i’m not talking sinus pressure…this feels deep within my head, my bread and the bout will happen for a few seconds. it’s an odd weird feeling to where i’d start to panic as if my brain was swelling, but NO pain at all and just a weird sensation. again, i stress it distinctly different from sinus pressure for me. likewise, the haze or foggy felling along with it. and…buzzing as well, light headed and dizziness among others.
the buzzing though was body-wide for me. felt like a cell phone on vibrate ringing under your skin if that makes sense. or maybe in your front pocket on vibrate while ringing is a better analogy. body-wide muscle twitching as well along with numb hands every morning, which has gone away. if you good a comprehensive list of anxiety symptoms, i’ve had everyone of them. i’ve struggled with GAD most of my life in bouts fortunately; i’ve had many symptom-free years as well.
no need to feel alone on this, you’re not. anyway, good luck.
eyes*
brain*…(not bread…lol)
thanks. The part that freaks me out is when our trip over words or say what I dont mean to say. But so far all the doctors say I’m OK and my testing is normal. But I appreciate your input
yeah stumbling over words is another. not terribly often but it’s happened. at times i’d literally tell myself, ‘you know how to pronounce this!’
