My schedule's become more a lot more intensive lately. My breakfasts suck, my lunch's are alright, and my dinner's are great: I know that's the opposite of how things are meant to be, but I'm working on that.
Is there anything I can do or have (supplement) that will stop me from being so tired. I'm 17, although it's summer vacation, one day it's either my gym workout, and doing all the cleaning, and the next it's all the DIY, gardening that's going on. Because I have to fit in time for studying for entrance exams I have in September, and my wanting to do more. I need to stop being so tired.
Hi there I was the same age as you when I found I had pernicious anemia. This leaves u tired then again so does m e which I also was told I had, no tests for this as doctors cant agree if it exists or not. I'm now 44 and still tired don't bother with gym now I couldn't last more than a few mis when. I was used to doing lots more.
If u go doctors ask to be tested for b12 its not a standard test they run. The treatment is a jab every 3 months not that bad. May not be this, but it is worth asking. Good luck x x
You could ask to be tested for vitamin D deficiency.
Hi there. I would add that you be tested for iron deficiency. Also, to go easy on any junk food as I've found fast food really slows me down! Slow energy releasing foods like bananas wholegrain cereals, with slow digesting (& so more filling) protein foods like eggs yoghurt, are good for breakfast. Plus, get the good 7-8 hours of sleep each day. I've read certain wavelengths of light, produced by gadgets, subdue the production of melatonin hormone that promotes sleep. Relaxation techniques can help eg. meditation to relax even if done for few minutes; stretching/massage to release tension in body and increase blood flow so feel energised; taking in Nature wherever possible does wonders. Just a few pointers that I hope will help.
Hi
I would go to your doctor and get a blood test done.
Supplements have really been shown not to really work. Saying that, if you do have a defiency of anything like lack of iron in your blood, iron tablets will work.
Hope you get your answers soon.
Best of luck
