Do we have scientific proof that apple juice helps gallstones dissolve or reduce?
There is no scientific proof. But I have done drinking apple juice and taking Epsom salt, olive oil and lemon juice on last day. It helped me for a month to be pain free and less bloating.i have not done for second time.
Thats great, i may try then. The thing is that i only have nausea, no pain whatsoever
you will get pain when you try to eat fatty/oily or protein rich foods. Avoiding this , will help with the pain.
Raw cider vinegar is supposed to prevent gall stones but for some that will not work. I got rid of some gallstones as did someone else by a gall bladder flush which involves drinking first thing in the morning before any food or any other drink & that is a quarter cup of quite warm olive oil with half a lemon emulsified in the oil......... it's not a nice drink at all but those who are prepared to drink it swear by it re it does flush out the gall bladder.
Scientific proof however is the fact that Ursodioxycholic acid will dissolve cholesterol based stones. The criteria is that they should be no bigger than 20mm but quite why that is stipulated is beyond me because if the acid tablets dissolve cholesterol stones within 6 months that are 7mm in diameter why are bigger stones not dissolved 7mm in diameter lets say from 25mm to 18mm in 7 months & then to 10mm within the next 6 months?........ some patients take ursodioxycholic acid for more that a year and achieve complete dissolution of their stones and are seen to be free of cholesterol stones when ultrasounded to see the results.
