Well darn it that pesky rain has set in and put the kabash on my morning walk. Guess I'll have to do some laps around the house or maybe, humm, it's the perfect day to go shopping. Yes thats it'!!! shopping rehab. Hope everyone is doing well today. I start my 6th week of recovery today and go back to the Doc's on Wednesday for my followup. I can now walk pretty good without my cane so I can't wait to surprise him and walk into the office on my own two feet.
Shopping therapy is as good as hip therapy. Careful not to over stretch yourself though!
Hi Susan! Snap I too am just past 6 weeks! I am still tender at the top of the hip and bruised! I am a carer for my disabled hubby! He too has oa and is severely sighted and deaf! We were due to end his care package last week! But have had an extension! Till may 16th! But I am in trouble with social service s as I was bouncing off them! So now they only deal with hubby! How pathetic! As I don't want my name in their book! Tomorrow we are off to supermarket! Which I am not looking forward too! Thank goodness we are still having Wiltshire farm foods! Regards Amanda
