Arch pain after starting WBAT

Hey all,
my history is: missed the last step while carrying a lot of stuff and am now 6 weeks post ORIF right fibula on a weber B, stage 3-4 fracture and stage 2-3 ligament tears in left ankle.
I had surgery on the right ankle less than 24hrs after sustaining the injury and have been in a camboot since week 2. Non weight bearing from injury until three days ago. I was cleared by surgeon to commence WBAT, and to be boot free within 3 weeks.

Due to the damage to the left ankle I wasn’t cleared for using crutches and only used a scooter during non-weight bearing. So I am both getting used to weight bearing and crutches. I have worn a camboot before for plater facisitis and it caused no pain. The boot has not been causing pain / my right foot and ankle have not been sore since halfway through the second week and I stopped pain medication.

Ive been weight bearing at about 50% on my right foot, with crutches, and slowly increasing the distances. Today was the first time leaving the house on crutches. I probably went no more than 50 metres at any one time, and sitting between. The swelling and general achyness I expected however, I have a lot of pain in the arch of my foot, which seems odd as the camboot is supposed to aid with this in typical circumstances.

Any suggestions? as I dont see my physio for another 4 days.
