Nails that is and im getting older lets say

Hi, I recently had a bunion removed, I was told that the X-ray showed I have arthritis in that toe and may need invasive surgery.

Nails that is and im getting older lets say

Thanx for your reply i haveone on each foot its been over fifty odd years they took xrays of my feet and hands no answer on both

No what you had was juvenile abductus hallux a pathology caused by genetics plus rear foot to forefoot pathology

this caused a protective rotation of the joint (the bunuon) and the toe to drift across

however as this is abnormal then over time it can become arthritic but still be mobile

need more of a description to answer nails
