i know CF primarily affects the lungs and abdominal organs however i present as a young adult with a strange set of symptoms. I have mild malabsorption (low B12 once) IBS where i get loose stools and significant bowel pain and discomfort and i have a small cyst on my thyroid and on one testicle. Now for men thyroid cysts are somewhat uncommon and the cyst on the testicle is unique because ive had it since early childhood which is rare. I know im grasping at straws as even in late diagnosed cases of CF there is usually more symptoms like easily getting sick or frequent bronchitis. but I've always been very skinny and have trouble gaining muscle or fat (my thyroid levels are normal so its not that) and as a child they thought i had asthma because i had trouble breathing often but that mysteriously went away as i got older and the specialist said i showed no signs of having ever had it and that children are over diagnosed with it. Any input into if i should further investigate this would be appreciated.
