I recently had sex with my boyfriend. (he is the only guy ive had sex with) And after sex, i felt a burning sensation when i peed. about 2 days ago i felt itchiness, burning, and pain. then i checked my vagina and i saw these!!! please help:(

Hi karla,

I suspect you have acute genital herpes. You need to seek medical attention, either from a local STD/public health clinic or A&E/casualty so that you can start oral aciclovir (antiviral medication) ASAP.

For now, take painkillers like paracetamol and rest in bed. If peeing is very painful fill your bath with lukewarm water and sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons of cooking salt and pee into the bathwater. Drinking more fluids will dilute the urine and will also help. Try to get some lidocaine gel from your local pharmacist or drugstore and apply it to the lesions if you want immediate relief.
