Arms going dead, not numb. Do I have a heart disease?

Hello, I’m seventeen years old and have acid reflux. I’ve been trying my best to get it better by using natural remedies (like apple cider vinegar etc).

Since yesterday I’ve been waking up with a dead arm( basically I need the other hand to move my dead arm so it will get better). It wasn’t numb just dead and it won’t move. It was either my right arm or left arm that was dead. But I remember it was mostly my right arm that’s dead. Am I having heart disease? Or is my acid reflux worsening???

You may just have slept with that arm tucked under and it lost circulation . Did you massage it and it got back to normal ? I doubt that at your age you have heart disease or acid reflux . You may however have some type of food allergy , watch what you eat and see if you can find a trigger , dairy maybe or grains . If it doesn’t get better or that arm is still numb , go see a doctor .

Amy, tell me the symptoms of reflux you're having.

Having a dead arm is not really a symptom of reflux, maybe occasional pain on the left arm, but it wouldn't go completely dead. It's probably really numb, or you slept on it. I have done that occasionally in the past.

Also you're only 17 years old, don't get anxiety over this or you might have make your reflux worse. Like Rainbowsend said, you could have an allergy.
