Arrghhhh some one help!

Ive been reading up on some forum topics one being eggs!!!

i used MFP to scan my eggs it said 5.0g for one egg under my understanding this was ok so i have been having one poached egg on whole meal toast 0.8g per slice its day 3 and i have been "ok"  is this wrong should i stop?

i cheekily weighed today on day 3 and seem to of lost 3lb 😊

Hiya. The fat content you need to be looking at is the fat per 100g not the total. 

1large egg is actually 9g each!!! 

I use to have the odd egg tho, it does effect people different and if you're ok with it then don't stop. 

Tablets do take a good week to kick in tho so just be careful. Well done on yr loss up to now.

Oh yes your bread it's not per slice either it's per 100g so if u had hovis whole meal it's 0.6 per slice but it's 2.5 g per 100g it's that fat your meant to be counting. 

I think this is where people are going wrong thinking they are well within the 15g fat allowance per meal when they are actually miles over. smile

I was always ok with the odd egg but it does effect us all different. I know people ok with salmon fillets, omg they went straight through me. Lol. Sorry tmi!! Just count your fat and you will be fine. X

Hey just checked your right mine is 2.1g perr 100g ive been using my fitness plan and scanning all the food i have been eating and at the end of the day it gives me ny daily fat intake is this correct xx

Also i have been havin WW soup for dinner on the tin its says 0.7g for the whole tin is that wrong aswell xx

I'm so glad I read this lol. I'm into my third month and have been doing it wrong the whole time. I knew it had to be lower than 5g per 100g but i didn't know it was that number you added up. Oops.haha.

How much have you lost so far and dis u suffer with side affects xx

Hey, started at 80.6kg. First month I lost 11lb. Second month I lost 7lb. So am now 72kg. 

And yeah I've had side effects lol. I've never understood why though because I thought i was eating good.

I'm no longer on them I lost 3 stone 10lb in 4 months!  I was mega strict tho. I did fall off the wagon once and had pizza when drunk. Omg!!!! Never again lol. 

If u count yr fat and be good it drops off. Good luck x

But that's if ur having 100g of bread remember. It takes some getting it head round!! 

It's things like crisp they are 5g per bag but u look at 100g of fat it's 30g or something like that!!! They are a big no no. 

Look at the grams per 100g

Just read all this and have a question 1st week in is it the fat per 100g u add up or the amount of fat per serving u total to 15g a meal??? Iv been using mfp and totalling up my fat intake to 15g hope it's no the fat per 100g u add up

Iv been doin it that way also haven been totalling up the 100g fat :s

My understanding is 15g per meal but 5g per 100g so say u were to have steamed chicken and a tin of spagetti the spagetti is measured 0.3g perr 100 so say u wanted half a tin its 0.6g fat well within ur allowance? Xx

I have the odd (small) egg, poached on wholemeal toast and I have never had any problems smile I am not saying you should have them all the time. I just treat myself to one every now and again at the weekend for a change. I also have a egg white Spanish omelette on occasions, but would not fancy egg whites on toast, yuck!...

So its the per 100g we have t total to 15g iv been doin it per serving argh this is my 1st week and confused even more now so if I have bread 2 slice it will 4.6g and what ever I have on it so we can only really have 3 meals a day
