I was a little reluctant to post this but after doing some research online would really appreciate some personal perspectives..
Long story short, my Dad suffered from ARVD, onset aged 27 including two counts of SCA and progression of the disease right through to heart transplant aged 45. There is a 30-50% of genetic inheritance of this disease and I was last tested back in 2010 (aged 16) showing no symptoms.
Recently for the past 2-3 months I have been experiencing random heart palpitations, dizziness and feeling of off balance that is almost constant, high levels of fatigue that is impacting my day to day. The GP have been amazing at making referrals for cardiology screening but I am curious to know more about initial symptoms experienced by others? I know there is a high chance still this could be stress related but if there was a chance of ARVD, are daily symptoms expected?
