ASKING AGAIN - Was I at risk?

Already asked this but no one answered. Nov 2019 I caught my teeth on a guys penis it started bleeding his blood was in my mouth but I know transmission through oral sex is low so I am not too worried about this. I am worried because we had sex (with a condom) after and I think when he was putting the condom on, some of his blood went on top of the condom and then he inserted his penis inside of me so I am worried his blood got inside of me. Idk is status so I am worried. I had a canker sore 1-2 weeks after this and have read it is an ARS symptom am I at risk for HIV please help?

if i may ask, why didnt you get tested after this exposure? early symptoms can usually be none at all but fever or any swollen lymph nodes are all other more direct symptoms. seems like the exposure might be fairly low risk

is that guy HIV positive?

he said he hasn’t been tested in years idk

i’ve had no symptoms of those. and i’m young and it’s hard for me to access a test without my mum questioning me. i’ve got a home test kit coming

well thats pretty reckless of him but anyway usually if you have been exposed you would experience seroconversion syndrome as i said fevers fatigue rash and all that, an ulcer in your mouth would not be an indicator you’ve been infected. Im sure you’ll be fine do the home test kit just to settle yourself. Even though HIV is around seems like its more rare these days.

Difficult to answer your question. Perhaps the risks are low, if he does not have hiv it would be null, but as there are people who are infected and do not know. It is best to have a test done 30 days after infection.
