Hi moi , congratulations it's over . Remember to listen to your body , don't do too much too soon and have a nap when you feel like . I was incredibly tired .

Seven weeks post op now and the difference is amazing x

Congratulations.  Take it easy at first, do as you are told and you will be amazed at the difference 6 weeks after the op.  Day by day you will begin to feel less tired and feel much better.  Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hi moi, seems I was on the table around the same time as you! I was in rugby st cross under Mr Cronin. Had "superpath " left thr under general anaesthetic. Woke Tuesday morning feeling like a baby elephant was sitting on my left leg and I was weak as a kitten.(I am 6' 46yr old otherwise fit and healthy male). By 6:30 Wednesday, I was ready to go home- medically I mean, hospital was excellent. I used two crutches from about lunchtime Tuesday. Got to car under my own steam and now have to be disciplined in myself to take rest, lie down at least an hour a day etc... just stick to precautions in not bending twisting or rushing . I am on paracetamol and morphine sulphate and a nerve block tablet and rarely get any pain, just sit in my raised armchair when tired, otherwise potter around house n garden just fine with crutches. Trust how it feels is all you can do and enjoy your growing freedom. Best of luck
