I've tried everything for anxiety. Has anyone used xanax as solution? Wondering if it can calm extreme anxiety.
Xanax has worked for me only for night time use. It was given to me when I hadn't slept in a week and it knocked me out within minutes. It's extremely addictive though, about as much as opiates, and it tends to work so well it renders all other medicines useless, so I personally feel it should only be used as a last ditch effort. I know the feeling of extreme anxiety very well, and even so I'm reluctant to use it. However it could be a good solution for you-it depends on the person, really.

Yes, but its highly addictive benzo. I have had anxiety for a while and now cant get off the benzos. A med tombe careful with. Any help to reduce is non existent aa far as my dr is concerned.
