Yes, the athlete's foot fungus smells. It is highly contageous so everyone is at risk. Aloe Vera gel, from the plant, when slathered on the area very genrously kills the fungus, heals the sores as well as prevents it from spreading. Give it several days to heal and continue to use the gel to prevent any flare ups. Take preventative measures to ensure your are not creating the problem.
