I have athlete foot since 1977 when leaving HM forces I have tryed all creams out but I can not cure my infection has any people out there can gave me adivce

:idea: Well, time you got rid of it then. Other half goes to the gym a lot, so about once a yr or so we have a bout of Athlete`s Foot. At the first sign we both use Lamisil Once. You can get it in most chemists, but it`s not cheap.There`s plenty for two people in one tube, but you must read and carefully follow the directions (not rocket science...) Nothing else works as well, or at all. However, it says it`s no good for fungal nail infections.
Somebody came to the reflexology class I was in and said he'd got athletes foot. He was told to go home, put a little tea tree oil in water and soak his feet every day, then dry them well and keep them powdered.
It seemed to do the trick quite quickly as he was back the following week and, after a foot inspection, she let him continue in the class and he was able to complete the course.
This might sound a bit daft, but I've heard that if you expose your feet to sunlight for 10/15 minutes a day it can help, as fungal infections thrive in darkness. A bit difficult in winter, granted.
