Availability of preloaded injectors

Does anyone know if Clareon monofocals are available with preloaded injectors? If yes, would that would be true for any target, for example: -2.0 D, -1.75D and -1.5D?
Many thanks!

Yes, at least in Canada the Clareon comes in preloaded injectors, called AutonoMe. The lenses come in a wide range of powers, and would be available regardless of your target unless you need a lens for very high myopia or hyperopia. What is your current eyeglass prescription? Are you getting a toric lens?

Hi Ron,

Here is my current eyeglass prescription:

Sphere	Cylinder	Axis	Dist VA	Add

Right -4.75 +1.00 007 20/25 +3.00
Left -5.00 +1.25 170 20/25 +3.00

You will need IOLs with a sphere power of about 14 D. The available range I recall is 5 D to 30 D. There should be no problem getting a lens in that 14 D range. The Cylinder might be a bit an issue though. You need to know what the predicted residual cylinder will be. Based on your eyeglasses it is not likely to be a large amount. If there is an issue it would be in getting a toric with a low enough cylinder value. I recall the Clareon comes with a minimum of about 1.0 D at the cornea plane. The AcrySof minimum is a little lower at 0.75 D. Cylinder values of less than 0.75 D are normally corrected with a toric lens. However you need to know what correction is needed. That will come from your eye measurements and the IOL calculation sheet.
