Awful Shaking

Hi everyone. I know I've posted about this before but I'm having an anxiety attack today.

I've been experiencing a kind've tremor in my body. When I drift off to sleep or wake up my body has this shaking. Lately I've noticed it sometimes when my body is just at rest too. (i.e. Just siting on the couch) It really scares me. In January, levothyroxine gave me bad tremors. They never seem to have fully gone away. Is this normal? My endocrinologist is having me keep a food log to make sure it's not something I eat causing this. She said my tremor is visible when holding it my hands but I thought it was internal so I'm lost.

I'm a very anxious person. But this happens regardless of whether or not I'm anxious so I'm trying to figure out if it plays off my panic. My blood sugar is always good when it's checked too.

What are people's thoughts? Do you also experience shaking? Thank-you.

Hi I've commented on tremors before, mine are mostly hands but can notice in legs and head shaking. I've learned over years they are not dangerous, more intrusive, hate if people notice as mine kick in when I'm nervous or anxiety is bad. Deffinately plays off your anxiety, I've asked every question, my docs very good. We just want to know it's not anything worse. Glad your getting help and keeping a log. Trying to help yourself, great. It's so easy to sit about feeling sorry for ourselves. Anxiety is horrid.. great people here and great advice( ❤️

Thank-you so much for your response. It's always really comforting to hear from people who experience similira things. Lessens the anxiety a bit. Glad that yours are benign as well! My tremors have been a bit worse in the past couple weeks, which is why my doctor told me to keep a log.

Thanks for reply, let me know how you get on. So glad fellow sufferers are helping each other❤️
