Hey everyone I posted a couple months back about possible IBS(symptoms were constant loose stools, cramps, and just tons of anxiety for two months) and I got prescribed xifaxan by my Gastro doc said he could be SIBO or IBS by going off my symptoms and if it didn't work to go back . Well that day I saw him I got better stools before I even took the meds. What are the chances lol. I went ahead and started to take them and for almost two months now decent stools most of the time and I developed some terrible burping stuff. Well it's been 1 week of back to loose stools again 
bummer. Anybody have any experience with xifaxan and burping so much ?! Also is this normal of IBS or SIBO to get better and come back ? I've also developed a big time appetite since xifaxan and have gained weight as well .

Sorry to hear that. Hey I have IBSD and tried going off gluten and dairy and it's improved dramatically! So it can't hurt to

SiBO can be eliminated with medication. However, IBS can go away and come back. Sometimes it disappears completely. It is very unpredictable.
Hey Diane I did try that before when I was restricting my diet but when I got better I started to eat them again but I'll prob switch back to limiting again

how much weight you were before and how much you have improved also in how many months.
after getting cured i am also feeling the improvement visibily but not checked
I went up almost 10 lbs in 4 months . I never lost weight. I got better for two months with bowel movements as I gained that weight
Sounds like stress maybe triggering it
